sister, Mrs. Johnnie Hall, and

children Edna, Carol and Jr.,
all of Ware Shoals.

Mrs. Bill Nelson, Lydia Mills,
and friends, Dennis Conwall and
Vaughn Campbell, are patients at
Shriners Hospital in Greenville.
A 3C Billie Oaklv is spending
30 days with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Oakly of
285 Locust St., before going
to Germany for 3 years. Mrs.
Jean Hawkins and son of
Jacksonville is spending two
weeks with their parents and
grandparents.

2nd Shift

Well, here it is news t'rr
again and everybody seems to
have enjoyed a big day on
the ninth of August, the day
of the barbecue given by the
plant for working one million
man-hours without a lost time
accident, and let us work real
hard to make it two million
instead of one. We can if we
just be careful and report any
unsafe condition to the second
hand or section man.
We are indeed glad to welcome
back to this dept. Mary
Patterson, who had to be off
several months because of
sickness.
Mrs Corn Crow vvifo of
Addie Crow, doffer, had a
goiter taken from her throat
a few days ago and we hope
for her a speedy recovery.
Delores McCravey went
fishing on Saturday and she
said she caught three small
ones, she said she couldn't
find the big ones.
Your reporter went up to
Greenville the other week
and visited some relatives.
John Stone has had to be
off several weeks on account
of eve trouble. We sure hope
they get well soon.
Mary Pierce, warp spinner,
and Betty Richev, filling
spinner and Jimmie Richev,
filling doffer, have gone to
the third shift for awhile.
We are glad to welcome to
the second shift Peggv Patterson,
filling spinner, also
Clarence Morton, filling doffer
There seems to be a lot of
people having sore throat and
their fever running high.
There has been several on
, this shift that have had to
lose several days with it.
