We are glad to report that Mrs. Ruby Butler is improving after an extended illness. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Lowery announce the birth of a son, Harold Kent, on April 29, at Blalock Clinic. Rushton. Billy Sherfield and Nellie Sherfield spent the weekend at Lake Greenwood recently. Thomas Mitchell of Laurens visited Mrs. Esther Mitchell and Marion Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Arnold. Wallenzines visited their son Pvt. Maxie Wallenzinc at Fort Jackson Sunday. PFC Lewis Wallenzine spent the weekend at home before going to Fort Lee. Va.. where he will be stationed for a few weeks. Mrs. Esther Mitchell visited her two sisters in Easlev several days. Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Leslie. Mrs. Lissie Fox. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Faulkner of Jacksonville spent a few days here visiting relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Huev Barnett, the James Dunaways, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dunawav. Mr. James Dunawav is a medical patient in Greenville General Hospital.
