Mr. and Mrs. Hamrick have been real sick with the flu but they are both back at work now. We are glad to see them back. T Sgt and Mrs. Billy Hamrick and children of the U. S. Air Force left February 4 for France. They will be over there seven years. Mr. and Mrs. Hamrick are sure going to miss them, we know. We hope they have a nice trip and enjoy their stay over there. Mrs. Mary Tucker, sister of Loret Lawson, is doing fine after surgery at a Spartanburg Hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery. 1 wish to take this way to thank all of my friends in and out of the mill for the nice pounding which was given me while I was out sick.
