We were glad to have Mary
Terry back after an absence
of several days last week. The

list. He is feeling better now.
J. C. Page and Curlv Hicks
really enjoyed riding home in
the snow Wednesday. They
both live in Woodruff. J. C.
says that's the advantage of
living away from your work.
Curly accused J. C. of passing
a couple of guys fixing a flat
tire all because he was in a
hurry to get home so he could
help his daughter make a
snow man. We have come to
the conclusion J. C. was more
: a i A i -i A
rtuxiiHO man uie uaugnier.
Everyone must have been
excited over the snow. Neufter
Creswell even worked on
the 3rd shift so he could go
rabbit hunting in the snow.
He savs although it was rabbit
hunting they killed a
variety: rabbits, birds, squirrels
and 'possums. He leaves
the top to his work bench
open most of the time now.
He says anyone wanting to
see the picture of a Grand
babv to take a look. The little
Tvke is cute. Always smiling.
Neuffer savs he gets that after
ole Grandpa. Ha!
We wish happv birthdav to

Hi Folks:
How did you like the snow?
The only fault I had with it,
there just wasn't enough of it
and it didn't linger long
enough. We had a few hunters
in here that were disappointed
too.
Mrs. Mice Kuykendall is
still thrihed over her big surprise
birthday dinner January
12. One of her sons, Clarence,
came over and got her. as if
to carry her to his home for
dinner and then brought her
back home to a house full of
her children and grandchildren.
with a bountiful dinner
on the table. Another surprise
came the following day
when she went to work. Ethel
Lever brought her a big
birthday cake to the mill
which she cut and divided
with fellow workers. This reporter
(Grace) was out sick at
the time, but she didn't forget
me. She sent me some of the
cake and it was really delicious.
Ethel can bake me a
cake any time she likes.

leave in January with their

called from Shaw Field for
them to meet him. Bet Malcolm
won't go anywhere without
his leave papers again, for
they almost didn't let him
return from Shaw Field with
Larry, thought he was A. W.
O. L. because he didn't have
his leave papers with him.
