In fact, he ci married last year, December 31 to be exact. Raymond is the son 1V1 of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Lawrence. or We are happy to report that D David Owens is very much h< improved since the accident ti in which he received a broken al leg. By the time you read D this David should be back at bi Blalock Clinic after a stay in al Greenville General Hospital ai where pins were put in the g< leg and also a cast put on. We wish to extend our >epest sympathy to Mr. and rs. W. L. Lancaster in the cent death of their little andson, born December 19 Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Burn of Greenwood. Mrs. Burn is the former Mills Patria Lancaster. Mr. and Mrs. Marcell Bar?r and son spent Christmas eek with Mr. and Mrs. aurlock in Charleston. They so visited Mr. and Mrs. C. Smith in Hartsville. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Davis id son ot Atlanta, Ua., spent veral days with Mr. and rs. Claude Lee Smith. Dave Lawson, better known 1 the 2nd Shift as Uncle ave has struck it rich somenv and traded for a beauful shiny black car. We're 1 disappointed that Uncle ave didn't get a '58 model, at anyway we'll all gather ; his house for a free ride id listen to him tell how iod it runs. They also visited in Chickamauga, Ga., during the holidays. WEAVING NO. 2 3rd Shift By Mary Miles Well, Happy New Year, everybody. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. It sure is hard to concentrate on working after being out a week isn't it? Hope everybody will have a prosperous and happy new year. We all sure enjoyed the ice cream and cake we received from our second hands at Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence ivuykendall and children visited Mr. and Mrs. Wilson in Fort Mill, S. C., during Christmas. Barry Cannon was sick during Christmas. We're glad he's better now. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Finney and Mrs. Emily Holley spent Christmas day in Whitmire, S. C., with Mr. and Mrs. John Finney. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith visited in Greenville, S. C., recently. Fred McCarson had a couple of children sick during the holidays. There seems to be an epidemic of upset stomach among children going around. Mrs. Inabelle Hooper and Tonv spent Christmas day with Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Wehunt. Inabellc is sure going to enjoy her present from her son?(a hair drver). Mrs. Marvin Owens was home from the hospital for Christmas. We wish her a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. Larrv Masters said they had a nice Christmas. Larry was sure surprised when we gave him his Christmas present. We all think he's mighty good-looking in that pretty jacket. Steve Tucker had the flu during the holidays. Marcel 1 Barker got a beautiful Shriners Diamond ring for Christmas. He sure must have been a good boy this past year. They returned from a honeymoon trip to Nashville, Tenn., where they attended "The Grand Ole Opry". Mrs. Wilson is the former Miss Guvnita Lanford. Mary is sure proud of the pretty T. Mr. and Mrs. James McMillian had as Christmas dinner guests Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey j Nelson. Miss Juanita Nelson of Whitmire, Miss Dot Nelson of Columbia and Mr. and Mrs. Aubrev Nelson, Jr., of Greenville, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Black and children visited Mr. Sloan in Columbia Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Ficklin spent a Saturday with his sister, Mrs. McCoy, in Greenville, S. C. Carolyn, don't worry, you have got Charles hooked. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Alexander had as their guests Mr. and Mrs. David Clark of College Station, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Watkins of Bridgeston, N. J. Mr. and Mrs. Coley Campbell motored to Atlanta, Ga., over the holidays. Mrs. Annie Sloan and Maude Hillman were Christmas guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Black.
