The Lvdia Fishing Club,
composed of 113 members,
brought their 1957 activities
to a close on Saturday evening,
November 23rd. with
the annual fish and chicken
supper held in Providence
School Cafeteria.
Prior to serving the meal
an award presentation program
was held in the auditorium.
President J. B. Neal
called the meeting to order,
and asked He v. \1. J Sanders
to give the invocation. The
remainder of the program
was presided over by Furman
Bratcher. club program chairman.
Mr. Bratcher extended
a warm welcome to the group
and asked them to stand and
begin the program by singing
"Onward Christian Soldiers."
