Inez McGinnis said she didn't ever get out of Clinton. We welcome David McNinch and Aree Brown. The Campbells have been fishing at Santce and Lake Murray, but no fish yet. Coley and Bill Campbell spent a weekend recently in Columbia with Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burke, Jr. and children, Dianne and Tony, visited Mrs. Burke's parents, Rev. and Mrs. J. A. Hanvv of Spartanburg. Dianne Burke spent a weekend in Laurens with Miss Jean Pulley. Mr. and Mrs. James Woody visited the Dorsev Turners. Tony Burke spent several days with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burke, Sr. of Enoree. Mrs. Herman Ball of Laurens visited Mrs. Grace Burke recently. We wish I ~ 1 ntM it speeay recovery. WEAVING NO. 1 3rd Shift By Sara Shellon This seems to be homecoming month in the little mill. Two of our servicemen came home. Harry Foster Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Foster, has finished his boot training in the Navy at Great Lakes. 111., and is spending a fourteen day leave with his parents and friends. He will be stationed at Newport. Rhode Island. to finish his courses in radar. Pvt. Murf Bovette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Bovette, has gone to Texas where he will be stationed. He recently spent two weeks' furlough with his folks after finishing boot training at Ft. Benning, Ga. Mrs. Juanita Glenn visited her mother, Mrs. C. E. Sims, in Greenwood recently. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Gordner and children of Baltimore, Md., spent several days with her sister, Mrs. Fred Shelton, and Mr. Shelton. We have a new hour hand in -1 Weaving. He is William Lambert. Glad to have you with us, William. Sam Lawson's mother, Mrs. Pearl Lawson, is seriously ill at the General Hospital in Greenville.
