Joye, has enlisted in the U. S. Navy and will receive Boot Training in the Great Lakes training area. The question of greatest importance has come up among several of our members. Mrs. Eunice Braswell and Grace Wooten visited in Columbia Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Berry Meadows visited Mrs. Grace Sweeny in Greer, S. C., last week. Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Gilliam and daughters, Lena and Sue, and son, J. B., and Linda Chapman spent the weekend at Folly Beach with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Tucker. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Gilliam and daughter of Norfolk, Va., spent the weekend with their parents. THE CLOTHMAKER Miss Linda Chapman of Anderson spent several days with Miss Lena Gilliam. They don't want to tell us anything they did to print, but I learned a little about them anyway. Mrs. Eulila Owings spent last weekend in Columbia with relatives. Mrs. Eulila Owings, Mrs. Agnes Walker, Mrs. Peggie Holland, Clyde and Hoy Garner and F. S. Gamble all visited in Greenville on Sunday with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wlykliee of Columbia visited with Mrs. Owings and Mrs. Agnes Walker on Tuesday. Ira Martin and family visited Mrs. Martin's mother, Mrs. Martha Rowland, in Rock Hill on Sunday. James Graham of St. Augustine, Fla., spent a week with Mrs. Lucille Edmonds and children. Rachel Taylor, Lucille Edmonds and J. C. Rowe visited in Spartanburg and Wellford recently. Johnson. The bride wore a blue dress with white accessories. We wish them many years of happiness.
