Riley and daughters from Rock Hill were vecent visitors of the John Gallmans. Miss Barbara Jo Todd and Miss Dale Edwards, students at General Hospital in Greenville, spent the weekend with the former's parents. Sorry to hear that Joe Todd is a patient at a hospital in Pensacola, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Culbertson and Randy, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Fuller and little son, Billv, and Harold Griffin were Saturday guests of the Furman Bratchers. Glad to report that Mr. Bratcher has now recovered from his re cent illness. Mrs. Sudie Grant continues ill at the home of her daughler, Mrs. Agnes Williams. Hope she's soon on the road to recovery. Mrs. Wilson Campbell and children of Spartanburg spent a recent weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Burdette. Mrs. Spurgeon Todd of Newark, New Jersey, spent the weekend at home. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Spillers of Simpsonville were Sunday visitors of the T. O. Williams. Our deepest sympathy goes to Luther Rhodes in the tragic death of his sister, brother-in-law and niece, of Woodruff. Sfc. and Mrs. Willie Cannon. Mona and Johnny arrived home recently from Germany. They are visiting at the home of Mrs. Sara Jenkins. Stc. Cannons next assignment will be Fort Benning. Glad to welcome Walter Hughes, a newcomer to our department. The Harold Hamptons celebrated their 11th anniversary lecently. They, with the Clarence Brookshires, recently visited in Chester. We understand the mother of Mae Nelson is seriously ill in the hospital at Aiken, S. C. We sure wish for her a speedy recovery. Mr. and Mrs. John Stone and their children went up to Paris Mountain this weekend. Everybody is talking about the mill going on five days, some sad, some glad.
