McWaters, from Great Falls, spent a few days recently with the W. D. McWaters family. Robert Whitsel and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Bud Carr in Aiken recently. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilson. Jr. celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary December 24. Mr. and Mrs. William Samples will celebrate their wedding anniversary on January 28. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Lowery celebrated an anniversary on January 13. Happy birthday to Mrs. Mary Sue Early, who celebrated a birthday on January 15, also Jesse Reece whose birthday is January 29; Bill Crane who was 17 on December 28; Johnny Mor gan who was 14 years old on January 8, and Mrs. Billy Lowery whose birthday was January 12. Miles Lawson and family spent the day recently with Mr. H. A. Copeland. A splendid feast was enjoyed by all who attended the supper given bv the Spooler Room at Scott's Drive-Inn in Greenwood recently. Glad to have Bill Crane back after being out with an injury received in a motorcycle accident. CLINTON MILL B The three groups of Blue Birds met in the beautiful decorated Community Centei December 12, for the annuai Christmas party. Christmas carols and games were enjoyed. The Richard Wallenzines and son "Smokey" spent the Christmas holidays with their parents, the E. W. Mitchells of Lydia, and the W. C. Wallenzines of West Clinton. Little Cynthia Madden was a guest at the birthday party cf little Lou Ann Buchanan of Joanna recently. The C. M. Friers spent the Christmas holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Claude Revels in Chester. Mrs. A. C. Whitten snpnt several days recently with the Thomas Prathers during the holidays. Christmas carols were sung and piano solos or piano ensembles were rendered by each member.
