APRIL IS. 1955 NEWS ITEM Cloth Room Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blalock, of Graniteville, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. B. T. Fuller. The Blalocks recently moved from Newberry to Graniteville where he has accepted a position as vice president of the Graniteville bank. Guests at a recent surprise birthday party honoring A. T. Crawford. Sr., and his sister. Mrs. Helen Mahaffey, were Mr. and Mrs. Major Crawford, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Parrish, Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Crawford. Jr., of Lvdia; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Seawright and Cathy and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Bennett of Joanna. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dickerson and children visited Mrs. Dickerson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Terrell, of Travelers Rest. Their son, Billy, remained for a short stay. Mr ,nd Mrs. Henry Hallev and children of Aiken were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hallie Campbell. Mrs. E. L. Wc sincerely hope that every parent who has a child in school will join the PTA in an effort to learn more about what and how our children are doing in school. Your interest and activity in the PTA will not only benefit your children but will also develop a community spirit of unity on certain problems. There was a good attendance at our organizational meeting, but there are still a great number of parents who were not there. Won't each of you find out when the next meeting is scheduled and attend for the benefit of our children. I am certain you will enjoy and benefit from these meetings.
