Mills Women's Club were
elected at the October meeting
of the organization as

Academy Midgets
Have Good Year
Academy Street wound up
its 1954 midget football sea

against Laurens and came
out on the top end of a 21-14
score. This left the squad
with a 6 won and 2 lost record
for the season.
Coach Chuck Leatherwood
said this year's team was one
of the best yet in midget
football in the Clinton community.
Six Academy bovs were
selected to play in the Annual
Tom Thomb Bowl game
which was held at Presbyterian
College November 11.
All-star players from Academy
were Tony Hooper,
tackle, Don Dunaway, guard;

Kinard Littleton, halfback
and Terry Campbell, quarterback.
Littleton led the Academy
Street scorers for the season,
scoring 12 touchdowns.
Caughman had 8 touchdowns
while co-captain Terry Campbell
scored five touchdowns
and 10 extra points.
