Mrs. Gregg Rowe and son of Belton, spent Sunday with the Sharpton family. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Burdette and son, Herman, visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Campbell in Spartanburg. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Ball of Hendersonville, N. C., have returned to their home after spending a week with their daughter, Mrs. II. W. Williams, and Mr. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Ball celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary January 16. Mr. and Mrs. Billv Fennell and Steve were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Davis in Greenville. Mrs. Davis gave Steve a birthday dinner. Mrs. Nora Lowe has returned to Greenville after spending iwo vveeKS wnn ner sister, Mrs. Claude Sims, and Mr. Sims. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Snelgrove and children were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Snelgrove in Saluda. Lydia Teen-Agers Are Busy Group One of the most active groups in the Lydia Community these days is the TeenAC(> Cantppil vvliir'h montc every Friday night with an average attendance of more than 50 boys and girls. The group enjoys singing popular songs, folk dancing, square dancing and couple dancing. A formal Sweetheart Valentine's Dance was held in the Community Building February 12. On February 11. three dances were presented by the club members for the Clinton Kiwanis Club at the Hotel Marv Musgrove. All dances were performed in costume and included a Scotch Highland dance, a polka and a square dance. Officers of the Canteen are Cecil Davenport, president; Sue Hamilton, vice president; Betty Davis, secretary and Mary Cunningham, treasurer. The Canteen is directed by tsuri Alien, Mrs. Addison Neighbors and Mrs. lone Wallace. HI KENNETH VAUGHN was 14 years old February 8. Kenneth is the son of Mrs. Dora Vaughn.
