Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harris of Fountain Inn and Mrs. Clarence Patterson of Laurens visited Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McGinnis. Mrs. Dewey Moore of Union visited Mr. and Mrs. James Ryan. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Reep and daughter of Fountain City, Tenn. and Mrs. C. F. Smith and Dennis Headrick of Knoxville were recent guests of Mrs. R. E. Hughes. We welcome G. A. Jolly to our department. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gwinn of Riverdale visited Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McGinnis. Donald, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McGinnis, had a birthday February 13. Mrs. Ed Milam, mother of Rebecca McCarson, has been a patient at Blalock's Clinic. Hubert Rollins had a birthday January 16 . . . Loyd Taylor had one February 8 and his mother on February 8. This is his third enlistment and he reported to Charleston January 25. He is a Boatswain Second Class. We believe Shorty likes the navy. Bobby Joe Galloway joined the air force January 7 and is taking basic training in Houston, Texas.
