Now we're wondering about Shirley Wilson and Gholdie's 1 brother. Pvt. "Map" Simmons. Seems like he spends a lot of time with that girl when he's home and he's been home quite a lot. Reckon there are going to be some sisters-in-law around here someday? Speaking of r o m ance s, which we like, we understand that Bobby Quinn is soon to enter into married bliss. To make this a Walter Winchell column, we predict it will be with Carrie Dunawav, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luke Dunawav and the date set for December 23. That, by the way, is the wedding anniver- j sarv of your reporter, so best I wishes to you kids. Sorry to report Mrs. Melle Huey is a patient at Hays I hospital. Hope she'll be up and out again soon, by Christmas at the latest. Mr. Jimmv T-awinn father of Mrs. Roy Cannon, suffered a stroke recently. Hope he is much better bv the time the paper is being read. Glad that Herbert Hughes is able to be back at work after his illness and stay at the hospital. We welcome Rudolph Barker back to the First Shift. Birthday and Anniversary Department: Janis Sue Harmon. five on December 17; Sammy Leo Hoover, six on December 20; Virl Barker, nine on November 25 and Cole L. Blease became a man of his own December 9 as he became 21. Mell Huey observed a birthday in the hospital November 30. which was not much of a way to celebrate. Mrs. Jack Wilson has two reasons for celebrating December 25. It is His birthday and hers. Colorado, for treatment. As most of you know, Richard is home for the holidays and we hope that all of our friends will visit him before he has to return to the hospital for further treatment. His condition is greatly improved and the advance of the disease has been halted. It will oc necessary lor him to return to Denver in January for additional treatments. Without the help of all of you it would be impossible for us to finance his stay at the hospital and we want you to know how very deeply it is appreciated.
