Many Activities
On At Lydia
October and early November
were busy days in the
Lydia Community, according
to Mrs. lone Wallace, Community
Director.
The Horizon Girls, a new
member of the Campfire
organization, was formed
under the leadership of Mrs.
Earl Hamrick and meets each
Thursday in the Community
Building at 5 o'clock.
Mrs. Taylor Speaks
Mrs. George Taylor addressed
the October meeting
of the Lydia Woman's Club,
giving her impressions of the
country and people and
Brazil. Hostesses for the
meeting were Mrs. J. C.
Meeks, Mrs. Clyde Smith.
Mrs. Melvin Satterfield and
Mrs. Joe Davenport.
New Club Formed
The Duwego Club is
Lydia's newest organization
with 32 members. Officers
are Mrs. Lillian Wallenzine.
president; Imogene Jackson,
vice president; Mrs. Lucille
McGee, secretary and Joyce
Mitchell, treasurer. Refreshments
for the October meeting
were served bv Mrs. Wallenzine,
Miss Marguerite
Cunningham and Mrs. Nolika
Foster.

Hobby Club
The Lydia Hobby Club
now has added a new project
using Wood Fire, a Formosa
wood product, which produces
beautiful handmade
corsages.

a "Toys for Tots" campaign.
The Horizon Girls
will canvass the village for
old toys that can be fixed.
Help them with this project.

hospital and afterwards. Your
many acts of kindness and
the beautiful flowers will be
