2 James Campbell Are Our Family The James W. Campbells, popular family group of the Lydia Mills Community, are the Clothmaker's Family of the Month for October. Mr. Campbell is a Loomfixer on the Third Shift at Lydia Cotton Mills. He began work at Lydia in 1934 and has worked there continuously except for a period of three years when he lived in Greenville. Mr. Campbell married the former Florence Perry of Greenwood. Their son, Ray, is a Weaver on the Third Shift and his wife, Christell, is a Battery Filler, also on the Third Shift. They have one son, Michael Ray, who is two years old. Another son, Walter, is a Weaver on the Third Shift. * * IN THE ! ?!' ^ " SN John Snider, son of Mrs. Flora Snider. Mary Ellen is a Spinner on the First Shift at Lvdia. Another son, John Emery, or better known as "Buddy," is a Spinner on the Third Shift. His wife, Gladys, also is a Spinner but works on the First Shift. The Campbell's two daughters, Rubv and Betty, are in school. Ruby is 16 years old and Betty is 14. All of the members of the Campbell family are very ar*tivp in tVip rnmmiinitv lifp at Lydia and have many friends there.
