This photograph shows i 1 their annual Christmas dinner a1 Campfire Girls Coun Covering Both Ciinfi A Campfire Girls Council for Clinton and including activities at both Clinton and Lydia Cotton Mills was organized in December. Officers named for this year are Tom E. Addison, president; Mrs. .1 R Tpmnlptnn vioo president; A. C. Young, secretary and R. P. Hamer, treasurer. This Council administers the overall Campfire program in Clinton. The Council is composed of two divisions, the leaders and sponsors, and this group meets as an association for the purpose of exchanging ideas. Mrs. A. G. Southerland, Jr., is president; Mrs. A. C. Young, vice president; Mrs. Michael Sholar. secretary. Mrs. Southerland and Mrs. Templeton are representatives from the leaders Association to hte board of directors. Committees appointed at the organizational meeting include J. Leland Young, Mrs. J. V. Lowe, Mrs. W. L. Surprise Gift Leslie Williams, Cloth Room overseer at Lydia, has served refreshments to his employees each year at Christmas as they gathered to exchange presents in the department. This year Leslie did not have to open one of his presents, in fact, you could have seen it all the way across the cloth room.
