PICKENS, S. C. 5
THURSDAY MARCH 17,1910
The clouds have rolled by,and
the song of the lark and carol of
the bluebird will awaken the
garden seeds and the violets.
Freezing weather and washing
rains with heavy loaded wagons
have made havoc of good
roads. Just bide a wee, and be
patient. They will get well.
If you wish to stay in a good
humor all day, the first thing
you do, put a drop of oil on the
creaking door. A man once recovered
from a chronic case of
rheumatism by oiling creaking
hinges and rusty locks.
