' Mr. J. F. Cauley of Pickens, R. F,
D. 1, accompanied by his daughter,
Miss Nora, went to Jooassee last
week to attend the baptistpg at Mt.
Carmel church on last Sunday. There
mere fourteen baptized, among whom
were, W. F. Batron and son, Grover,
formerly of this county. Miss Nora
will remain in Jocassee two or three
weeks visiting relatives.
