IX years ago, the 4th day of October, we
opened our doors to the trading public of
Pickens county, and this was the beginning
of a Revolution in the mercantile business of Pickens
county. Year by year our business has increased;
this year the increase has been far beyond our expec
tations; so great has been the increase that we have
been compelled to add to our already enormous floor
space to make room for the tremendous stocks of
Dry Goods, Clothing, Hats, Shoes, Millinery, Hard
ware, Stoves, Farm Implements, Groceries, \Vagons,
4 Buggies, Furoiture, &c.
