gives users the chance
to take a look at satellite
maps of any city on Earth.
While many Web sites
have offered this ability
for years, Google Earth
creates a 3D rendering of
our world’s most beautiful
cities and natural wonders.
Most recently, Google
has released a new type of
web-based program called
Google Calendar. While
scheduling programs like
this have been available
for years, Google hopes
to use the success of its
other programs to breathe
life into this new venture.
Users of the Google
Calendar must have an
active Gmail account.
The service has a simple
interface and can work
with Microsoft’s Outlook
Express and Apple’s iCal.
On the business end of
things, Google appears to
be well off. At last check,
Google’s stock was trading
at $402.06. Many pundits
and critics note that
Microsoft views Google
with a most curious, eye.
Microsoft has seen the
many products Google has
come out with in the last
few years and they have
apparently become scared
of Google.
Google’s future is
unknown, but many believe
that the sky is the limit for
the innovative company.
With enough revenue
coming from its advertising
service and stock, Google’s
future is most definitely
secure.

systems analyst who will
earn his bachelor’s degree
in business in May from
the University of Colorado

a big sweet tooth. I ate
them growing up, but
I’m not really a Twinkie
fan, I guess.”
One option is to apply
to get the home on the

1,570 Illinois properties
are on the list - at least
half of them private
