to speak about Disney’s
ongoing relationship with
Apple. Iger said the new
partnership “provides great
opportunities for the
consumer to stay connected
to their favorite programs or
to get connected to a
program that they have
might not had access to
before.”
Music videos are also a
heavily touted feature with
the new iTunes and iPod, as
Jobs announced that more
than 2,000 music videos are
available for immediate
download for $1.99. Some
featured artists include
Kanye West, Madonna and
U2.
Pixar Animation Studios
has also thrown its hat into
video downloads, as six of its
award-winning short films
will also be available.
Apple looks for the new
iPod to open the floodgate of
new ideas for portable’
videos. Many argue no
market for this kind of idea
exists, and that the current
selection of television shows
is too limited.
Others tout many new
concepts to coincide with the
release of the Video iPod,
such as opening a new
audience to independent
filmmakers, a new location
for video podcasts and a new
legal channel for content
owners to provide content.

“As opposed to the first 44
years of manned spaceflight,”
Rutan said, referring to
multibillion-dollar government
efforts, “the difference is people
are going to know that it is for
them.”
He and Allen — who with
$20 billion is Americas third
richest man, according to Forbes
magazine — repeatedly
contrasted their venture’s

For the space agency’s 2018
trip to the moon, Rutan said, it
will rely on the same technology
that first took it to the moon in
1969.

HOROSCOPES
ARIES Hold your temper and
check your impulse to go on a
shopping spree. In the morning,
you’d feel even worse than you
already do.
TAURUS Be careful, especially if
somebody else is tjpset. Staying
cool under pressure is one of your
specialties.
GEMINI Jealousies could erupt
now as others vie for your
attention. Be pleasant to all, and
don’t get distracted from your
goal.
CANCER If you can stay out of a
fight that doesn’t concern you, do
it. Don’t even go over there.
LEO The farther you venture, the
more you appreciate what you
have at home. Funny how that
works.
VIRGO It’s good to feel like you
can afford to get a special treat.
You can’t spend much on it,
though. There’s still a debt to be
repaid.
LIBRA You’re pleasant and
cheerful, and yet you’re running
into disagreement. It’ll help if you
get some solid facts to back up
your argument.
SCORPIO Financial conditions are
unstable now, so be cautious.
Although it looks like you come
out ahead, it’s close.
SAGITTARIUS Extra time is
needed for planning carefully. Do
it now, considering Tuesday you’ll
be too busy.
CAPRICORN This is not a great
time to tnake permanent
decisions. You will have to make a
few quick choices, though. Save
your receipts.
AQUARIUS Keep asking questions
and reviewing options. Before
long, you’ll have to choose. Put
that off as long as possible, by the
way.
PISCES Money’s still burning a
hole in your pocket for a litde
while. Exercise self-discipline —
you’ll soon get interested in
something else.
