HOROSCOPES
ARIES The most difficult part is
over, and it’s time to call a
meeting. Discuss what worked,
and celebrate what you’ve done.
TAURUS You might find yourself
taking on authority. It’s logical —
if you’re the only one who really
knows what’s happening.
GEMINI You’ve been stuck in the
same rut long enough. Make
your break, someone would love
to come catch a dream with you.
CANCER Better go through the
numbers again and figure how
much you’ve won. You might be
in for a pleasant surprise.
LEO A person you admire
tremendously can be a big help.
You don’t have to understand it
all — simply do what you’re told.
VIRGO Even if you concentrate on
your work all day, you might
have to go into tomorrow to get
it done. Set your date for Sunday.
LIBRA You’ve had to contend
.lately with people who don’t see
eye to eye. Relax soon with a
person who understands.
SCORPIO Your presence is required
at home, delaying your expedition.
Send away for what you want and
have it delivered to you.
SAGITTARIUS Some of the
questions you’re asking don’t
appear to have answers. Those are
your favorite kind, actually.
CAPRICORN Conditions are good
for collecting money you’ve been
promised. Don’t let people flake
out on you. Remind them.
AQUARIUS This time, you’re
providing the motivation. A
friend comes up with the idea for
a solution, to your delight.
PISCES Although you’re in a
playful mood, there’s serious
work to be done. Make sure
somebody else does it, OK?

■ HEROES
Continued from page 6
and he can still describe the cover
to you.
When the first of the newer
Batman movies came out in 1989,
Jack Nicholson played the first
villain, the Joker. Baker said he was
about 8 years old, arid he “flipped

out.
“It was the most enjoyable for
me out of all the Batman movies,”
he said.
The comic-book heroes
transferred to the big screen have
not really disappointed Baker. He
said he feels the directors do a lot
of justice to the comic books.
“Most of them are comic book
readers. They know the little things
that go on in the books and throw
them in for the die hard fans but
keep the flashy things in for the
other fans,” said Baker. They want
you to get “more Batman for your
buck.”
As for the hype behind the new
genre of movie, Super Hero, Baker
feels it was just a long time
coming.
“These guys have been big, it
was just a matter of time before the
technology could catch up and
make the comics come to life.”
In Bakers mind, there are a few
super heroes that have been left out
of the craze. He has heard a lot of
underground talk about a movie
based on one of the fastest men
alive, the Flash. There have been
rumors circulating that, if and
when this movie is produced, Ryan
Reynolds of “Van Wilder” and
“Blade: Trinity” will be playing the
Scarlet Speedster.

good move and would make an
awesome movie. He is also happy
that talk of making the comic, the
Watchmen, into a movie has died
down.
“How do you make the best
comic ever into a movie without
ruining it?” he asked.
Just like any true superhero fan,
Baker has his wishes about what
his super powers would be. When
asked he said, “Flight. Or being the
fastest man alive. But wouldn’t that
make a great combination?”
