Horoscopes
ARIES Don’t be impetuous:
Don’t get too rowdy. Mind your
manners and your position.
It’s hard when you’re feeling
so jubilant. You can be less
inhibited tomorrow.
TAURUS A friend who
understands you is a true
delight. Confide in this person
if you get frustrated. Or, just go
for a massage.
GEMINI The money you’ve
been saving will soon be put to
good use. Don’t spend it before
the time is right, however.
Stretch it as far as you can.
CANCER You’re good at saving,
but that’s not a lofty enough
goal. You’ll really get into your
groove when you learn how to
make your money grow. Study.
LEO All of a sudden, from out of
nowhere, you realize you’re
not alone. There’s somebody
else who can make your life
easier. Let them, for heaven’s
sake!
VIRGO A lack of money could
have you upset, but there’s no
need to become frantic or sad.
Over the next few days,'you’ll
have a good chance to bring in
that much and more.
LIBRA You may have to be the
moderator between two parties '
whose tempers are short. You
c,an help them calm down and
come together, with help from
a special loved one.
SCORPIO A new technique,
tool or theory won’t work, so
don’t invest too much in it.
Give it a try, though. You’ll
learn from the experience.
SAGITTARIUS Revise old
visions and look at them one
more time. Just because they
didn’t work before doesn’t
mean they should be thrown
away. The timing could be'
right this time. Start planning.
CAPRICORN A frustrating
situation at home temporarily
knocks you off your stride. You
can turn this to your
advantage, and maybe even
turn it into extra cash.
AQUARIUS You should be
feeling better by now, and
you’ll soon feel even better.
You’re getting a shot of self
confidence, and there’s more
where that came from.
PISCES You love to develop
your spiritual side, but
sometimes this process begins
with you asking questions you
find disturbing. Don

Question: After the break, I find myself feeling
nostalgic and not wanting to be here. I would rather
be at home. What can I do to motivate myself again
and not feel so sad?
Answer: First, it is completely normal to feel
nostalgia toward places and people we do not have
the opportunity to see on a regular basis, especially
after spending time during the break with friends
and family at home. A great way for you to motivate
yourself is to concentrate on the new experiences
you are having, and live in the present moment. You
can then share these new ideas with others when
you return home. Growing and maturing is even
more fun when you can share your new adventures
with those you love, knowing each semester is a
new adventure. Ultimately, if you are not able to get
motivated, or feel you cannot get over your feelings
of sadness or loneliness of being back at school,
please contact a professional that can help you
work with your feelings.
Tip - Breathing as a central component of better
health:
What phenomenon begins at birth, ends at death,
and is available to you every moment of your life? It
is natural that you rarely give it a thought. It works
with you to increase your effectiveness or against
you to stop you in your tracks. It is your breath.
Oxygen is simple, yet important and is a necessary
component of all body organs. Red blood cells
completely renew every 120 days, not primarily
from the food we eat, but from the oxygen we
breathe.
Breathing should be natural, smooth, easy, slow
and silent. Breathing should be done in through the
nose, not through the mouth. Shallow breathing
fails to cleanse the body of waste and poisons,
reducing the effective functioning of body organs
and tissues.

does it feel as your body expands to take in fresh
air? How deeply do you exhale emptying your
lungs and making room for the next new breath?
One simple way to slow down and regain control
is to breathe in fully and very slowly to a count of
eight and then release your breath until the lungs
are empty and open. Repeat this practice,
especially when you are feeling anxious or tense.
Make a practice of noticing your breath, bringing
it back to its natural rhythm. It may improve your
grades and well-being by reducing anxiety,
ridding your body of toxins, and relaxing your
mind and body.
