Tigers gave up an average of 393 yards
per game last season. Saban feels the
Tigers have made great strides on de
fense in practice.

said. “I hope we don’t give up as many
big plays in the future, and we’ll be a lit

Toefield summed up the changes sur
rounding the Tigers after last season’s
success.

top of the mountain, because now we
have gone from being the hunter to the
hunted,” he said.
