Visitation CONTINUED FROM PAGE 1 the intent wasn’t to remove all restrictions on visitation. “I think that there still needs to be some sort of policy in place,” Dawgert said. He said visitors would still have to sign in under the plan, which would place more empha sis on tracking visitors than on limiting their visits. Dawgert said signing in guests was “more im portant that the hours in which they’re allowed to visit.” He said he thought the resolution had most of the Student Government Senate’s support. If approved by the RHA, the bill would move to the Senate as soon as Wednesday. Moore School of Business Sen. David Bornemann said he would bring the resolution to the floor this week. He said the resolution enforced the idea that USC students were “all adults.” “We have the maturity here to decide our own visitation policy at this point in time,” Bornemann said. He said individual students’ concerns could be addressed through roommate contracts. Bornemann said he didn’t think the bill would run into op position because of the SG elec tions this week. Bornemann is a candidate for president. “I think it is a solid enough resolution. I think we have enough support so that it will have no problem passing,” Bornemann said. Hark said he might ask Bornemann to delay bringing the bill to the Senate for an other week. He said that would allow him more time to lobby and build support. “That’ll give me a week to en sure success in Student Senate,” Hark said. Dawgert said that, if the reso lution also passes the Senate, a copy jointly signed by SG officials and Dawgert would go to the Board of Trustees and President John Palms.
