he had extreme stomach pains.
Wilson was transported by EMS to
Richland Memorial Hospital.

■ Accidental damage. Wheat and
Main streets. Employee Mason
Moore said that while heading east
on Wheat Street, he accidentally
struck an orange traffic cone, which
caused minor damage to his driver
side mirror. Reporting officer: R.
Whitlock.
■ Autobreaking, attempted
larceny of motor vehicle, 743
Greene St. Reporting officer M.
Moore saw Timothy Willson trying
to enter the USC maintenance
building and several secured
vehicles parked outside the building
on Greene Street. Willson entered
one of the vehicles and attempted to
take it. He was placed under arrest
and advised of his Miranda rights.
Willson then gave a verbal and
written confession.
Friday, June 8
■ Missing person, Carolina
Coliseum. Atha Havelos said that
while attending an event with
Carlos Jones, Jones left his seat and
failed to return. Havelos searched
the area and was unable to find

to build a dining hall in their house
so members can eat together.
Because Greeks will now have a
separate area for meetings and
gatherings, different areas of
campus will be freed for other
campus organizations.
Once the houses are built, other
on-campus organizations will be
able to sign up to live, as a group,
in the on-campus housing facilities
currently occupied by Greek
members — McBryde Quad and
South Tower Residence Hall.

checkbook. Brand said she had
about three checks in the checkbook
and the last check was missing. The
check was blank at the time of the
larceny and was from BB&T.

Moore Residence Hall. Student
Sherrigan Feaster said someone
removed a Compaq Presario laptop
and a navy Eastpack bookbag from
a secured room. Estimated total
value: $1,240. Reporting officer: E.
Pereira.
Thursday, June 7
■ Disorderly conduct, 800
Assembly St. Jonathan Robinson
was observed to be unsteady on his
feet. Upon arrival, reporting officer
J. Rosier noticed Robinson to have
bloodshot eyes, smelling of
alcoholic beverage and having
slurred speech. Robinson was
arrested for disorderly conduct and
transported to the Richland County
Detention Center.

of Greek Life, such as having more
people come through rush,” said
David Marshall, president of Kappa
Sigma. “It will help create a more
positive image of Greeks on
campus, and I am glad we can be a
part of that.”
“Any new residence hall is an
asset to the university as a whole,”
said Jerry Brewer, director of
Student Life. “[Greek Housing] will
turn out to be nice living spaces,
which students will begin to utilize
as a place to hold study groups, get
together for meetings and to visit
for social purposes.”
