in scale, and that also teaches a lit

Other natural objects in the ex

compared to a rodent’s tooth and a
scale model of a pre-historic animal
compared to a picture of the actu

Underwood said some of the ob

“These things were just made by
people who were interested as a hob

“So it turned out really well that
they can turn their hobby into some
thing that is interesting to others.”
The exhibit also has many hands

“Tiny Town” and “Toddler Park”
are two areas where children can
play with trucks, go-carts, dollhouses
and a barn with plastic animals and

things here for kids, but adults can
relate to some of the miniatures
things, too.
“It’s a real family thing. It’s been
really popular,” Underwood said.

Absence of words
makes Couch’s CD
colossal letdown
by Charles Prashaw
The Gamecock
■sY OUT OF 'Y ☆ ti lY
Name a good German musician,
excluding all the classical guys with
weird wigs.
Chances are no one can.
Due to no fault of their own, Ger
mans are only good at two things:
causing wars and engineering.
So when I heard the band Couch
is from Germany, I already knew they
would be horrible.
The members of the band,
Micheal Heilrath, Thomas Geltinger
and Stefanie Bohm, didn’t let me or
my ethnocentric comment down.
For the fortunate few who haven’t
listened to this CD, entitled “Fanta
sy,” let me prepare them for the big
letdown. The whole album has no
words. And no, it’s not techno, which
is drum machine music with no words
to dance by.
It’s actually reguhar modem rock
music missing words. All the songs
have decent melodies, but they lack
words. In fact, the whole album
is like listening to a PlayStation game
and not being able to see the televi
sion.
Here’s a little advice for the band:
go out, find a singer, write down some
words and make a new CD.
Without any words, the band
sounds like elevator music or, worse
yet, like some kind of screwed up
rock V roll/classical music mix of
crap.
