1991 at Winthrop, and also Mid-Atlantic

Only seven USC players are juniors
or seniors, but last year’s leading scorer,
Worthen, is included among the upper
classmen. The junior forward had 11 goals
and five assists last year and was an All
Independent and an All-South Region se
lection.

Glowienka. The defense, a question mark
before the season after losing senior Scott
Campagna and Chris Morman, has de
veloped into a team strength. The Garne
cocks have only allowed 10 goals in 2000.

Monique Hennigan will race in the
4X400-meter relay.
Hennigan, a bronze medalist in
the 1998 World Championships, was
.04 seconds away from qualifying for
the finals of the individual 400-me
ter.
“Monique gave it a good run, but
she might have missed it due to her
lack of international experience,” Frye
said. “In next year's world champi
onship, she will be a finalist. She has
learned a lot in the Games.”
