Our own BJ McKie made the Knicks’ summer league team and could possibly break into the NBA next season. The Dallas Stars won the Stanley Cup. Whoopee. As for USC, football practice got under way with a lot of hope and promise, but it still remains to be seen what Sweet Lou and the boys can do with our team. Senior running back Troy Hambrick was dismissed from the team, which is likely a blessing. This way, we have three brilliant backs who can step in and prove themselves on the SEC battlegrounds. Phil "The Thrill" Petty is getting back to his full play ing form after backing up Anthony Wright last year.
