Each spring, Columbia gets a new
batch of minor league players when the
Capital City Bombers suit up at the
beginning of April.
In turn, each spring, the majority of
the Columbia baseball fans focus on the
tail end of the Gamecock baseball season
until USC gets knocked out of contention
for the College World Series.
