Harper's, one of the more prominent
restaurants in Five Points, serves
moderately good cuisine in a modern
atmosphere.
I especially enjoy Harper's house
salads, and the roast beef is also
some of the best around. However, I
find it difficult to look past some things
I noted about Harper's during my several
dining experiences there.
First, they make a point to serve
soft drinks in individual bottles, thus
costing the guest more when they order
refills. This can become quite a
pain for people like me who tend to
drink a lot during a meal. Additionally,
the prices on the menu at Harper's
are, in my opinion, much too high
for the quality of the food. Many of the
items on the menu are nothing more
special than one would find at any other
chain restaurant, but Harper's
charges much more than many others

I have also received consistently arr
mediocre service at Harper's. Inacou- wh
pie of instances I have gotten excellent ser
service, but in general, I usually find anc
myself quite put off by the time my
meal is finished. qui
