In the College of Liberal Arts,
for example, the evaluation differs
based on the department. For
GINT students, the evaluation begins
with seven questions that ask
the student to rank, from one to
five (one being strongly disagree
and five being strongly agree), the
availability of the professor outside
the classroom.
In the history department,
there are multiple-choice and
short-answer questions to give
students a chance to base their
evaluation on both department
guidelines and their own.
In the Journalism department,
there are 15 rank questions and
a comment section.
Many professors are tenured
and are not affected by the outcomes
of these evaluations. For
