Senators who opposed the bill called the one hour a week a waste of time and said they felt like children. The Senate managed to pass the bill as a resolution after many senators left before the meeting was over. Leaders in Carolina Productions, community service organizations and (we hate to toot our own horn) Student Media manage to hold office hours. These hours not only give leaders time to talk to members of the Carolina community, but it also gives them time to work on projects that can benefit students, something Student Government has yet to do. So far this semester, Student Government has not passed any bill that actually benefits students. They have managed to debate internal decision, things like office hours that are not even up for debate in other organizations. Senators spend dozens of hours getting elected. But once they are actually in office, they find it an inconvenience to dedicate even one hour to the office. Glenn will undergo tests that determine the effects of space on aging and are designed to give some clues, eventually, that will help scientists discover the key to the aging process. These fife Hit?
