Susy Fish began rollerblading in

too long before she found herself competing
on the South Carolina Women's
Rollerhockey Team.
Fish's team is the first in South Carolina.
"My husband plays in the MAHA,

league, and I would go out and watch
him as well as with other women.
And from there, we were interested in
playing, and we had enough women to
form our own team," Fish said.
She moved to Columbia in 1991.
Prior to her graduation from USC
inl996, Fish was a member of the
Women's Club Soccer Team.
Fish said, "I've always been athletic

I've grown up around it. I like competitive
sports, and hockey is my outlet."
Fish describes herself as a fairly
confident player who can hold her own
