Freshman pitcher Peter Bauer made his first collegiate start, going Vive strong innings. Sophomore Adam Poe crushed two homeruns and had five RBI to lead the onslaught. Poe now has four homeruns and eight RBI in only 11 at bats. USC coach Ray Tanner said he was pleased with Bauer's performance. 'You know it's tough on a freshman. He did a nice job.
