Bombs a risk for USC
BOMBS continued from page 1
found a suspicious package sent from
overseas. The package had a ticking
noise. Unable to contact the addressee,
the USCPD had enough evidence to
destroy the package.
The destroyed package turned out
to be an alarm clock.
Stokes said during the 16 years he
has been with the USCPD, he has not
received a legitimate bomb threat in
which a bomb was recovered.
"We have had some scares, but no
real bomb threats," Stokes said.
