"Every step of the way, she's been
there," Hall said. "I remember when
my coach said I couldn't play major
leacrue baseball with all the euvs. I
had to play softball and it was the
most devastating things that ever
happened to me and my mom was
there to say it was okay."
Hall chose Carolina over LSU,
Missouri and South Florida in part
because of the softball program and
in part because of her major,
broadcast journalism.
"When I came up here on my visit,
it was very pleasant with the coaches
and everyone that I talked to up here
was very pleasant And for my major
it has a good reputation."

to be indoors, she epjoys playing
racquetball and watching movies.
Overall, Hall seemed pleased with
her performance 36 games into her
freshman season.
"I'm getting there," Hall said.

and I think that's the biggest thing
I need to realize right now."

Leana Troesh comes to USC from
Santa Maria, Calif., where she was
named the Best Defensive Player at
Righetti High School her sophomore
and junior year.
This year has been no different
as she has stepped in and started
20 games at first base. She has a
fielding percentage of .955 and has
committed only six errors in 134
