Graduate School informational
Students considering attending
graduate school should attend a workshop
entitled: "Is Graduate School for You?".
The workshop will be on Thursday from
3:30-4:30 p.m., in BA 602B.
Multicultural ism presentation Friday
A speech entitled "Multiculturalism
at a Crossroads: Declaring Victory and
Ending the Debate" will be presented
on Friday at 3:30 p.m., in Gambrell 250.
Carole Marks, director of Black Studies
at the University of Delaware will be the
featured speaker.
The event is being presented by the
Women's Studies and the African
American Studies programs. There will
be a reception at the Women's Studies
Department, following the presentation.

Mental Health professionals from
the University's Counseling and Human
Development Center will offer students,
faculty and staff the opportunity to learn
about the signs and symptoms of
depression and to participate in free
screening as part of National Depression
Screening Day, Thursday, Oct. 10.
The free program will be held twice,

and noon. It will also be held again in
the afternoon from 2-4 p.m., on the thrid
floor of the Thompson Student Health

Workshop series to begn Wednesday
The Counseling and Human
Development Center will present a series
of workshops entitled, "Help, I am turning
into my mother or father" beginning
Wednesday, from 3-4:30p.m. The
workshops will be led by Russell Haber
and Malcolm Anderson. The workshop
will be help on the third floor of the
Counseling and Human Development
Center, located at 900 Assembly Street."
