The first floor has a trophy hall with archives that are open to research. The second floor has a shrine with a white marble alter, which is carved with the state seal, flanked with flafsp, and inscribed with The Soldiers of South Carolina." The memorial is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The original library is located at the corner of the quadrangle.
