These activities were pj designed to help students feel welcome on campus. Each of these activites was sponsored by Carolina Productions. Created in 1995, Carolina Productions is responsible for many of the programs that go on across campus. These p. programs and activities, provided students and faculty with entertainment and educational w opportunities. t( Carolina Productions consists of pj eight commissions which put on a( different activities and programs: Black Cultural, Cinematic Arts, q Concert, Homecoming, Ideas and Issues, Performing Arts, Special Programs, and the Traditional Events Commission. Each of these commissions a is organized and run by a separate ^ commissioner, with the help of a ^ committee. Throughout the year the Black ^ Cultural Commission is responsible for bringing programs to the university that reflect the African-American ^ heritage of USC students. Previously g' this commission brought famous j( Afncan-Amerrican speakers and ethnic C( dancers to campus.
