years of service for the St. Louis Police
Department.
He has been lauded for the nonviolent
techniques and strategies he
used as commander of the division
that, investigated homicide. raDe.
child abuse and narcotics.
Alphin has received more than 12
years of training at the King Center
and has created several successful
programs that targeted at-risk
youths.
