Durham, who took Georgia to five
NCAA tournament appearances, was
fired Sunday after 17 seasons.
Georgia was 18-10 this season,
losing in the first rounds of the SEC
tournament and the NIT. Durham,
57, was 298-216 at Georgia.

Capital (33-0) completed its second
consecutive perfect season and
extended its winning streak to 53
games. Oshkosh finished 30-2.

Vreni Schneider won her third
World Cup overall title Sunday, beating
Sweden's Pemilla Wibere bv 0.25
seconds in the women's slalom in the
World Cup finals.
Schneider, who also won the
slalom and giant slalom titles, edged
Germany's Katja Seizinger by six
points in the overall standings.
In the men's slalom, Norway's
Ole Christian Furuseth edged Austria's
Thomas Stangassinger by 0.26
seconds. Italy's Alberto Tomba, the
World Cup overall slalom and giant
slalom champion, lost a chance for
his eighth slalom victory and 12th
overall title of the season when he
straddled a gate in the first run.

is now 4-1. Ohio's Aaron Houdeshell,
who lost his first game of the season,
