"You can get frustrated sometimes," Randall said. "Christi (Timmons) and I were in the same situation our freshman year. You have to be patient and |j more encouraging. "It's easy getting down on yourself when you are that young, because there are going to be those nights when nothing is going right. She said the Gamecocks must ' learn to play more consistently if they want to be competitive. "I think playing at the SEC level is k_ something I have always dreamed of, g playing against the Tennessees and Ala abamas every night," Randall said "When we put 40 minutes together, we'll be v much more effective. s "We played a solid 30 minutes at Als abama, but we slipped up a bit in our defensive assignments. You just can't . do that in the SEC." r Off the court, Randall is a sport ada ministration m?gor who has intentions 1 of returning to Lexington, Ky., after graduation. Although most people think athr letes are good at everything they do, e Randall is quick to admit she's not pert feet. "I play a lot of golf," Randall said. "I love to play golf. Fm not very good at it, 1 but I love to play." t Ultimately, Randall believes that l Wilson is the heart and soul of the i women's basketball program, and it's t clear her respect for Wilson goes beyond basketball. ' "She wants whatfs best for her plav ers, and she will invest time in them to s make sure things happen in their best interests," Randall said.
