you see this quartet if you get the

Purple isn't just for dinosaurs, though.
Women of all ages and sizes were
waiting for hours to purchase the Wonderbra,
according to Dean Austin, a sales
associate and "fitter" at J.B. White.
"Since Friday morning when we
placed the Wonderbras on the rack, we've
had non-stop business," Austin said. "We
sold all but 12 in the first weekend, that's
more than 300 Wonderbras."
The crowds at J.B. White's weren't
the only ones growing larger. <
The Columbiana Centre Belk, the <
only other store carrying the Wonder- <
bra, sold 150 on the day the bras arrived, 1
and most of the rest by the end of the ^
weekend. The store did this with lowkey
promotion and moderate advertis- ?
ing, according to Carol Villa, a buyer for
Belk lingerie. ?
"We did extremely well with the Wonderbra,"
Villa said. "Considering the (
amount of money spent on publicity, we >
did remarkably well." ?
Some customers chose Belk for its ?
lack of promotion.
"There was no way I was going to try t
on a bra in front of dozens of people star- 1
ing to see if they could tell the differ- 1
ence," said Lucy T., a receptionist who c
took the day off to go shopping. "Forget I
it, no way."
