ball up and down the field well, but we've j %
got to convert down in the red zone."
Taneyhill, operating without a huddle
through the final three quarters, was

but was sacked five times. His 7-yarder
to Monty Means capped an 11-play, 58yard

Steve Yenner missed a 47-yard field
goal attempt with 10:04 left in the third
when the ball bounced off the left upright.
Kenny Simon picked up Johnson's
tumble and ran in 72 yards for a wouldbe
TD, but officials ruled Johnson's
progress had been stopped, nullifying
the score.
Scott had no trouble hearing the whistle.
"I definitely know the officials blew ?
the whistle because they were pointing

might have recovered the ball. Those '
things happen in a ball game."
