and monologues placed in a strange dance club.
For anyone who's ever been a part of the "bar
scene," The Pigs Of Love" will be a familiar scene.
A cast of several lost, lonely and pathetic character
lie to, beg and manipulate each other all in
the name of love and lust. Everyone is trying to
pick up, get picked up, or escape with some dignity
intact.
The script is a compliation of acul transcription
of conversations heard in several clubs from
Seattle to Columbia. Names have been changed
but the words are true. We may not be proud of
some things we've said or lines ewVe used, but
we've all said them, used them from them at the
end of the evening.
"The Pigs Of Love" featuresThe We're Not Your
Mother Player under the direction of Jayce
Tromsness. Guest preformers include, Janie
Haddad, Gene Aimone, Thorn Penn, Megan
Moran, Wade Sellars and Bob Reilly.
Tickets can be purchased at Benson Theatre,
on teh USC campus on Bull and Whaley Streets
across from Bates West, for a minium donation of
$3. All proceeds go to The Puppet Regime and I
Benson Theatre. Shows begin at 9 p.m. ,
