USC ? With the 1993 football season coming to a
Close Saturday, iz uamecocK prayers win sun up in
black one last time.
"I wouldn't want it any other way," runningback
Rob DeBoer said. "The last time in black shirts is
something you'll always remember."
The last game brings lots of memories and emotions
^for the senior players.
"I'm anxious to see what's going to happen," said
place kicker Travis Harrison, who earned a spot on the
team as a walk-on. "Walking in knowing it's your lasl
game, it's kind of scary. It'll be emotional for me."
Team captain Ernest Dixon is thinking about his
memories as a Gamecock as he heads into his lasl
game. "I will remember my first Clemson win, the
first and second times my teammates voted me team

teammates," he said.
Cornerback Frank Adams said hearing "2001" firec
him up during his career. "Playing at home, coming
out to "2001" with everybody fired up, it's the mosi
^ exciting thing," he said. "It can't be beat."
DeBoer said although the 1993 season has no
turned out as well as expected, he has no regrets. "It';
been an up and down season," he said. "There ha;
been a lot of disappointments this season, but it's beer
an overall positive experience. I wouldn't change it foi

Inside linebacker Eric Brown said he will mis;
being on the field everyday. "I think about the goot
and bad times I've had," he said. "I'm looking to havt
a little fun living my last day as a Gamecock."
Having their last game at home against Clemsor
makes Saturday even more special for the seniors
^ "Playing Clemson adds to the atmosphere and hype o
P the game," DeBoer said.
For Harrison, playing Clemson stirs up an annua
family rivalry. "My grandfather played basketball a
Clemson,"* he said. "Last year, after we won, h<
hugged me and told me he loved me but didn't speal
to me the rest of the day. I don't want him to talk t(
me again this year."
