Bros. Records, which took heat
for the Ice-T song "Cop Killer,"
says it has released the rapper
from his contract because of
"creative differences."
Warner also said it will not
release Ice-Ts "Home Invasion"
album next month.
In a statement Wednesday, the
company said the decision to pail
was mutual, but they would not
specify the differences prompting
the breakup.
"The decision to end this seven-year
relationship was a difficult
one for all concerned, but in
the final analysis, we believe that
this was the best way to resolve
our creative differences," Mo
Ostin, chairman of Warner Bros.
Records, said in a statement.
